
Kermit Roosevelt Sweet III, age 71, of Graniteville, SC, formally of Russellville, passed away at his home on Monday, January 11, 2021. He was born on July 23, 1949, son of Betty Sue Brock – Sweet and Kermit Sweet II.
He served and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was retired as a Nuclear Quality Assurance Auditor and enjoyed bird watching, gardening and Razorback sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved sister, Yvonne Sweet.
Survivors include his two children, Rowdy Sweet and wife Nicole of Atkins and Mandy Sweet – Darter of Atkins; grandchildren, Parker Sweet, Ally Darter, Lily Sweet and Harper Wilson; brothers, Randy Sweet and wife Kim and Joe Sweet and wife Aimee; five nieces and one nephew.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
