
David William Cartledge, 59, entered into rest on Saturday, March 03, 2018. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. at New Life Church, Central Campus with Pastor Bryan Matthews officiating.
David was born in Taylor county Kentucky and lived most of his life in the Augusta area. He was a welder and pipefitter and worked through Local 150 of Augusta for 41 years. David was an avid gun collector and he enjoyed running and outdoor sports. He was, by his own testimony, a saved Christian and attended New Life Church of Grovetown.
Survivors include his son, Taylor (Brenna) Cartledge of Augusta; his mother, Willda V. Shirley (Scott Boggs) of Midville; a brother, Dean (Gail) Cartledge of North Augusta; a sister, Donnie (Ray) James of Hephzibah; step-sister, Jennie Schwandt of Midville; niece, Christie and nephew Gabriel.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 at the church.
