Mrs. Lesa Tudor Lamback, 56, of North Augusta, SC, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021 after fighting a long and courageous battle against Covid.
Mrs. Lamback was born on March 2nd, 1965 to Richard and Vera Tudor. She grew up in the Graniteville, SC area with her brothers and sisters. She graduated from North Augusta Senior High School in 1983 and received her Associates Degree in Business from Kerr Business College in 1985. She met the love of her life, Marvin, and married him in December of 1984. They went on to have three children and two grandchildren. Mrs. Lamback enjoyed raising her two grandsons, lunches with her sisters, working at Mossy Creek Elementary School as a teacher’s aide, and attending Friday night football games at North Augusta High School. She looked forward to her yearly beach vacations with her family and anniversary trips with her husband. Mrs. Lamback was a very loving, patient, caring, hard-working, and loyal individual who will be greatly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mrs. Lamback was preceded in death by her parents- Richard and Vera Tudor; brother- Albert Jeffcoat, and sister- Lea Tudor Franklin. She is survived by her husband and best friend of thirty-six years, Marvin; son, Marvin Gerald “Gerry” Lamback, III; daughters- Jessica (Clarke) Palmer and Jennifer (Ashton) Hall; two grandsons- Matthew and Luke Lamback; sisters- Deborah (Chuck) Collins, Lena (Mickey) McLeroy, Lynn (Mark) Medlock; and brother- Edward Jeffcoat; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. in the back parking lot at Mossy Creek Elementary School for a drop-in style outdoor memorial. Masks are strongly encouraged per the family’s wishes. Pastor Paul Noe from Sweetwater Baptist Church will be present to provide words of encouragement and prayer. In lieu of flowers, a donation box will be available on this date for financial contributions to college accounts for Mrs. Lamback’s grandsons.
