Waltraud” Trudy” Hempel Caulkins 79, a very loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend entered into rest on Sunday April 14, 2019. Trudy was married to the love of her life Edwin Caulkins, Sr. for 62 years until he passed away in October of 2018. Born in Mecklenburg Germany in 1939, she and her husband made their home in Augusta since 1966.
